The name
نور (noor), light + بصيرة (basira), insight
“The light of insight” — the moment complexity becomes clear. It is the standard we hold our products to: software that illuminates rather than obscures.
The founder
NoorBasira was founded by Vishvesh Sanghvi, who spent more than fifteen years building enterprise finance systems and leading IT teams. Across those years he saw the same pattern: software that was very good at producing outputs, and much less good at knowing whether those outputs were right.
He started NoorBasira to build the other kind — AI products that do the patient, unglamorous work of getting things right, and that are honest about what they can and cannot do. The company is deliberately small and founder-led. That is a choice: it keeps the standard consistent and the claims honest.
Today
NoorBasira is early-stage. We currently build two products — Fawateer and Spark Education — with further ventures in development. We would rather do a few things carefully than many things loudly.
What our licence covers
NoorBasira holds a Dubai Silicon Oasis service licence across five activities. That is the scope we are permitted to operate in — what we actually build today is Fawateer and Spark Education.
